This Queen Anne Victorian home dates back to 1887 and was built by lumber baron Charles B. Leach. In 1915, the house began to operate as a home for unwed mothers and later a women's shelter. It operated until 1990 and is rumored to be haunted. Reports here include footsteps, shadows, phantom laughter and figures that show up out of the corner of your eye in the foyer.
