This location was once known as Mac's Cafe and now operates as Darleen's One Stop. It is believed to be haunted by a man who used to live in an apartment above the restaurant. His name was Jack Schaeger was said to be an abusive boyfriend and stepfather and was an all around explosive person. There was once incident where he was found firing a shotgun into the windows at his girlfriend and her children. The girlfriend's 19 year old son fired back to protect his family and blew off Schaefer's head at a point-black range. Schaefer's ghost has been spotted in the apartment hallway in the same clothes he was wearing the day he died: a flannel shirt, jeans and hiking boots. Other reports here include lights and shower faucets that turn on by themselves, among other strange, unexplained things.
