Across Missouri, there are numerous cemeteries that are believed to be haunted, where spirits reportedly lurk at night, and refuse to accept their grave as a final resting place.     This cemetery has been around since the 19th Century but has been more or less abandoned for the past three decades. Billy Cook is a resident ghost that lingers the grounds, he killed six people furing a 22-day criminal rampage between California and Missouri in the early 1950's.     This cemetery dates back to the 1830's and began as a family plot for the Thomas Pitcher Family. It was also a burial spot for Revolutionary War soldiers, some mass graves, one for Civil War soldiers and another for a group of pioneers who died of cholera around 1850. The story surrounding the Tapping Ghost says that visitors have experienced a sensation of something tapping them on the shoulder.
